New Nevada chip find! 1952!!!!

This is amazing! A new find from a new town or area with credentials! I found the chips and a friend happened to have the file from this company, E.M. O'Neil that made the chips, and dice. What is odd is that not many Nevada chips were of the cord mold! And this is the oldest, 1952, that I know of. No $25 chips were found. Just these with some California initialed chips.
This is an area near Amargosa Valley off hwy. 95 past Indian Springs. The post office was for Death Valley Junction nearby as Ash Meadows did not have a post office. This area is located in Nye county and is now a park, I think a state park. I am told the buildings are gone. I hope to go out and photograph this area soon and learn more.

Ash Meadows was a small resort. In 1954 The Knox's owned it. I have an article from March 28, 54 from the Las Vegas Review Journal. As mentioned in the article "The Lodge was a surprise well worth driving for in spite of our dusty ride and is truly an oasis in the barren desert because of the cottonwood and palm trees and shrubs. Built of white brick with a red slate roof, the guest roooms, pump house, dining room and lobby provide a welcome sight in their setting".

Now that I got many excited over this great find I would like to say Yes! I have extras to sell! 24 decent chips found with one cracked one. A few are chipped pretty bad. For nicer chips with some use I want $150 each. Email me if interested. When they are gone thats it. Earliest emails get the best chips.
