3RD EDITION-CAMPIGLIA & WELLS-Thick Book
In Response To: 3RD EDITION-CAMPIGLIA & WELLS ()

I notice the book is about 10% thicker than the last edition with the same number of pages. Probably will be more durable, but I hope the thicker pages "limber up" a little with use [g].

Some improvements I noticed in the production of this edition:

Bolder type for the Casino Names that separate the listings. Also bolder rule-lines for the divisions.

The values for each chip based on condition are now based on scarcity and other factors and are no longer just a multiple of the middle number.

Just to be fair, here are a couple of nit-picking comments I'd like to see considered on next edition:

Remove the "orphan" lines that appear at the top of some pages. When these are the "footnote" that explains the listings directly above, and when there is nothing "directly above", it is confusing. Example is at top of page 219.

White type in the banner stripes at the top of the Nevada small town section is unreadable against the light yellow background.

All in all a superb job, James and Steve! Great contribution to the hobby and will get a lot of use, I'm sure.
