I suspect I'll be getting my first very soon.

I bought a laptop, used. One hour after the auction closed (7:41 am on a Sunday) he had sent two invoices and an email saying he demanded Immediate Payment. I paid in less than 3 hours.

Took almost two weeks, and writing a few times, before he finally answered, computer was shipped. (hey guess what, same day as the email)

The eBay ad said it had a battery that takes an excellent charge. (18 minutes after a full weekend and it's dead) He said it included the CDs for the operating system, none came. He said it's 192 MB ram, it's 128. Listed as 15" screen, it's a 14 (no big deal) Listed as scratched on the bottom, didn't mention a sizeable dent on top. (no big deal, I'm going to take it camping...) Offerend with "Clean Install" of XP Professional. If my name is "Lorie" that would be fine.

I wrote and asked, he came back with "I said it was as is", which I don't buy as an excuse for lying in the listing. I offered to negotiate a refund, he basically said that he's a computer tech. and it's "AS IS"

So I wrote to PayPal and offered to take a full refund or partial refund. Heck if the guy would send the XP CDs I'd call it even.

Since he's pig headed and doesn't answer emails, plus, get this, says his reputation is important, "I don't make refunds" and told me to "look at my feedback score". He's got a (3) for a core. I'm impressed...

Oh by the way, doesn't eBay now allow for a response to a negative feedback? I'd keep it simple and polite. "retaliation" or buyer doesn't understand, item was fine. Never asked for refund, I stand behind my products. In other words, make it into a positive instead of getting into a pissing match with an idiot.

What's alittle negative from ajerk, between friends. All of us can see when the person handing it out, is a loser and can ignore a silly little red blot. No one is perfect.
