William, If you check the Historical Ebay records
In Response To: (Message Deleted by Poster) ()

you will see that Galvestonguy has duplicates of many of the same items he is selling. I personally know Frank well and can vouch that this is NOT a shill bid. He has sold plenty of these chips in the past at the minimum bid including one to myself. If you would like I can talk to him personally about selling you one outright.

Frank is an upstanding member of our hobby that has done more historical research on Texas Gambling than anyone else I know. Please be careful about calling someone a Shill unless you are sure and I for one see no evidence in the posts you have provided.

Believe it or not there are quite a few people who collect Galveston items (Including Chips). I know of at least 30 of them myself. To believe that only a handful of people would want to bid on a $100 Crest and Seal chip from the most historical and notable gambling joint in Galveston is completely ludicrous.
