The wife is putting ideas into my head about a weekend Vegas vacation. Both of us have been dying to go, but hard to plan with a limited budget. We were thinking about Labor Day weekend in September. Is this a good time to go?

Need help regarding a nice, inexpensive hotel on the strip. Are there ones we should definitely avoid? We were thinking about the Stratosphere, or Excalibur. Would like to get to the Hard Rock, and the Bellagio while we are there.

Anyone have any ideas? Also looking for some discounts/coupons if you know of any available anywhere.
