if he meant the John Wayne Airport, your estimate of an hour is closer to reality, but in my opinion, still optomistic. From LAX, he's a good two hour drive to Oceanside (in my opinion). MapQuest has it at 86.9 miles from LAX to Ocean's 11 Casino in Oceanside, considering the toll road. If you can make that in an hour, YOU'RE driving the next time I go to Vegas !! Steve B
