Re: Why do some chips dye ???

It's interesting to me that Bud Jones chip leech. I have none that have caused my plastic flips to become colored like the Chipcos do. I have thrown away many hundred flips that were ruined before I found ones that withstood the color leeching.
I do know that if certain Bud Jones chips (non CIC) are used with the wrong flips (cheap flimsy plastic flips) the face of the chip will stick to the flip and will become defaced if not carefully removed. This is caused by a combination of heat and the bad flips.
I have found that hard plastic flips are perfect for Chipcos and these Bud Jones chips. Another flip that works is called Saflip. They are made by E & T Kointainer in Sidney, Ohio. I buy mine through JP's Corner out of Missouri. They have a website. jpscorner.com.
Hope this might help anyone who has had these problems.
