72 cents to Canada

Phyllis,

I ship to Canada and Europe all the time.
It should always cost 72 cents to ship a single chip to Canada in a bubble envelope. It would only be 85 cents if the package weighs over 1 ounce.

Rate for the first ounce is 60 cents.. + a 12 cent "Fat Charge" for the package having a rigid object in it.. obviously you don't want this package going through the automatic machinery.

Rate if the weight of your package excedes 1 ounce would be 85 cents. You can usually ship 3-4 chips for this.

Rate to Europe is 92 cents for 1 chip (80 cents + 12 cent fat charge) 80 cents per ounce if shipping heavier packages and $5 for global priority if you can get it in their special envelope and it weighs under 4 pounds.

In the US you should always be able to send a single chip in a bubble mailer for 49 cents (37 cents plus 12 cent fat charge) As long as it is not over an ounce that is the rate. Just use normal bubble mailers.. not huge ones or those heavy paper mailers and you should be all right. Everything is based on weight.. if you don't have a scale at home, the post office always has one in the lobby. I hate to see people spend too much on postage when they could use that extra money to buy chips for their collection.
