Re: Three slabs sold to a chip collector?

I just checked out the web site. Sure looks like a professional grading service to me. They appear to specialize in coins and cards. Here is some info posted on their site.

Professional Grading Service, Inc. (PGS) was founded on the principal to serve collecting enthusiasts with grading services which offer fair and reasonable pricing, a simple submittal process, a quality product, and much more helpful services above and beyond other companies in the industry.

With this in mind, PGS recognized the growing industry of online auctions as the route most customers take to sell their graded items. We know that a link to an image of your item in your online auction is a necessity to sell your items for maximum value. Scanning and uploading your images can be a time-consuming and expensive project. One must consider the cost of the equipment, such as a scanner, imaging software, the monthly fees for web space to accommodate your images, and the time consuming process of scanning and uploading images. All this is no longer necessary... because PGS provides an image of each item graded by PGS on the Internet!

PGS offers the FREE service to our customers to be able to access an image of the items graded by PGS through the Internet. These images can be used at the picture link on your online auctions; saving you the tremendous time and expense.

In addition to these special services, PGS has a team of extremely qualified and knowledgeable professionals grading your items. All of our grading staff have many years experience in item collecting and have been trained to grade to PGS standards.

PGS produces a product of the highest quality on the market. The state-of the-art, sturdy holder is ultrasonically sealed to be air and water tight. Your encapsulated item is virtually free of internal movement.

PGS focuses on the fastest turnaround time in the industry without sacrificing the most accurate grading possible and the highest quality product output.

The response to PGS and our services, which extend far beyond those of competitors, is incredible. We are confident that our focus on bringing you the most reliable grading, the highest quality product, and the most efficient and effective services, will bring you and Professional Grading Service, Inc. continued success for years to come.

Thank you for choosing Professional Grading Service, Inc.
