As a new collector of chips and silver strikes, I try to use all available resources to evaluate a chip's "value". I watch this BB, check eBay, and JPA and ask questions. I also have TCR 10 and James's Book. I do not believe I have done business with Capt.Banjo, so I can not attest to his business dealings which appear to be way above board and fair. I have watched this thread and discussion and I would like to add that although I can not find anything wrong with the auctions in question and I do not believe that any deception was committed. That being said, I think that to a certain extent that it is up to the buyer to educate themselves on what they are buying, whether it be a car or chips. "Watchdogs" (and I do not mean this in a negative context) are a welcome sight to this chipper when they bring up an error in a value or a error in representation that I may not have been aware of. So long as everyone sticks to facts and not bashing, name calling and other actions not condusive to the hobby, everyone can be a winner.
