CaptBanjo as far as I can see has an outstanding reputation as a seller on Ebay. His feedback reflects what he sells, how he treats people and how they respond to him. If he chooses a book to use as a reference then that is his business. If he believes that is what the chip is worth than that is his belief! With the boom on Ebay the true values change monthly and the value is what people are willing to pay.
I sell on Ebay and I buy plenty too. I usually ask that feedback isn't left when I buy because I will pay what I want to pay for a chip, book or no book. I think there are some serious issues on Ebay and Captbanjo doesn't seem like one of them.
How about the sellers that uses the word casino chip for a novelty chip. I have had more newbies complain that they thought they were bidding on a real casino chip. Some in their haste to WIN didn't read the description carefully. I have done that myself on a few items and chalked it up to experience.
How about the seller who doesn't pay income tax, business tax, or state taxes. I just recently read the business laws, federal and state, and now I am waiting for approval for a business license. I will pay my dues to the IRS and all the other government agencies that want in my pocket.

CC GTCC Code of Ethics #9 states: To refrain from making any unjustified, false, or slanderous comments about other members.
When I joined this club I took it seriously. I joined because I saw a post that said volunteers needed for the convention. I was told only members could volunteer so I joined. My husband Ron wanted to help so I had him join too! I am very new and I still am very green. I have made several mistakes and have corrected them with the help of other members. Most of our members are 5 star people and some need reminded of what this club is all about. Comments and thoughts are welcome but please don't attack me here if you don't like what I wrote above.
