You are correct. Not accepting credit cards does diminish your pool of potential bidders and therefor your ending auction prices. As a bidder I also prefer the convenience of paying by PayPal, but I am not averse to writing out a check and mailing it for a chip I really want. All these fees are why you often see S&H fees of $1.80, $2 or higher for a single chip. By not incuring these fees I can keep my S&H charges at $1 for combined shipping.. that may pick up a bid here or there from bidders that appreciate reasonable shipping. I considered all this when making the decision not to upgrade. If I did high volume or more expensive items I would probably go the other way (and get the debit card to recoup some of my fees) but since the majority of my auction items are below $10 the added fees on all PayPal transactions are not justified by the occasional higher bid. How do you feel about BidPay for paying by credit card?
