It has been my experience that some casinos will accept other "local" casinos silver strikes others will not. I have purchased "foreign" strikes from Circus Circus in Reno, Golden Nugget in Laughlin, also I have found Strikes from "sister" casinos ie Reno Hiltons in LV and Harrahs from Lake Tahoe in LV. It seems to be common in Las Vegas, Reno, Lake Tahoe to take "foreign" chips on the tables when playing. They usually exchange them when you first start to play and drop them in the box.
