Re: new bad rules with PayPal PERSONAL accounts

Don, I'd like to see those rules that let an individual (who has different email addresses) to open several personal PayPal accounts under his own name.

I looked through their rules and found these items:

(1) Can I have multiple PayPal accounts?

Yes. PayPal members may have one Personal account and one Premier or Business account. You can add additional email addresses, credit cards and debit cards, and bank accounts to your Personal, Premier or Business account. However, each account must have its own email address and financial information. If only one account is needed you may also upgrade from a Personal account to a Premier or Business account.

(2) Getting Started - Personal Accounts

Can I ask my buyers to pay me using my Personal Account if I have a Premier/Business account?

No. According to PayPal's User Agreement, if you own a Premier/Business account you cannot direct your buyer to pay your Personal account.

(3) Can I have a PayPal Personal and a Premier/Business Account?

PayPal allows members to have one Personal account and one Premier or Business account. However, each account must contain an unique email address, bank account and credit card.

---------------

I guess there is nothing to stop you from having friends and relatives sign up for PayPal and letting you use these accounts as your own.
