Firstly it is not "MY" book as you state. In fact I dont support quoting prices in an auction out of any book for that matter. Many of the prices listed in guides are meant to be just that, used as a guide. True value can only be determined in the open marketplace.
What I am pointing out plain and simple is that several people on this board, including some well respected ones, have pointed out to you that your value of $450 stated in your auction is incorrect. For some reason unknown to me, you have decided not to make a change in your auction description and thereby in my opinion, intentionally misleading potential buyers. Now I admit you may not have known this prior to starting your auction, but you surely knew it yesterday.
As far as the whole issue with Roland Wert, Russell whomever and the other several people that seemingly appeared on this BB out of nowhere, I actually took your side on that one.
I personally don't think James would be too happy knowing that you quoted a price from his book that everyone who follows this board knows is incorrect.
You posted on this board looking for opinions and how people view this, and thats exactly what I gave. My honest outside opinion.
