Thanks for responding, I guess it does make some sense the way you've explained it.

I didn't mean to give you "flak", I have a tremendous amount of respect and admiration for you and Michael and Ernie. The contributions that the three of you have made to the hobby are truly immeasurable. Personally, I use the TCR and TGT almost daily, and can't imagine enjoying the hobby nearly as much without them by my side. grin

I think it's because I respect you (the KMW team) that I found your apparent endorsement of repairing/altering/modifying chips so disturbing. Granted, a $25 increase in value doesn't indicate a strong endorsement...but it would seem to indicate some approval.

I guess you're right, though, the way you handled it should prevent someone from assuming they can turn a $100 chip into a $1000 chip by having it repaired. Geez, I hate what greed can do to something that should be just for fun!
