Hoard = More chips which has to....
In Response To: Fitzgerald's chips ()

create an overall decrease the current guide prices.

The Coin World just states thousands of chips. Well let us presume there might be 2000 of each chip giving a total of 8000 chips and 2000 slabbed sets. I wonder what an additional 2000 known additional quantity of each of the new chips will do to the guide prices? Can this additional load on the marketplace qualify the price of slabbing them. Not too many people collect $100 chips so this chip most likely will tank in pricing, as most of the others in the set should do also.

One of the early concerns in slabbing of chips, was slabbing the common and current chips. Looks as though these chips if (very big "if" here)2000 of each were found they make a big jump toward being common.

Looks like there are more of these chips now than there are of some of the current limited edition chips... vbg

Slabbing these sets is an "insult to injury". vbg

BTW, I can't wait to hear what their "RETAIL PRICE" will be! Bet it will add even more "insult to injury"..... vbg
