Below is what I said:
_______________________________________________

Hi,

Just read about your Fitzgerald's find, congratulations.

I am a collector of Nevada casino chips and I wanted to share with you that there has been a great discussion on the collecting community's bulletinboard, www.thechipboard.com, concerning your find and your intentions of slabbing the chips.

You may want to do some research concerning the slabbing of chips before you do it. You will find that the 99.9% of the chipping community is vehemently opposed to slabbing. Back in the 2000/2001 time frame ICG (if I remember) tried to start grading and slabbing chips and it was a complete failure. Don't take my word for it, contact ICG, and read the archives of the Chipboard http://www.thechipboard.com/archives.htm, it's all in there.

I believe that you will find that your chips are more valuable un-slabbed and will be ignored in the market place if they are slabbed.

Cheers & Good Luck to you!
