I have no problem with getting used to a new term. The issue is that the word "NEW" already has a meaning within the hobby, and now the committee has asked everyone to reassign the word to a different concept. As I said, I believe that the idea of "new condition" will not be sticky enough to replace the universally accepted current concept (that of a recent chip issue) and will therefore act as a deterrent to the membership embracing the Club's "official" set of conditions.
