I spent a weekend up in Potsdam, NY re-colonizing a chapter of my fraternity (Phi Kappa Sigma) at my alma mater, Clarkson University, but it was Clarkson College of Technology when I got my BS and MBA degrees from there. About 30 miles northeast, in Hogansburg, NY (near the Bridge to Canada at Cornwall) is a beautiful Indian casino, Akwesasne Mohawk Casino, with silent receipt-issuing slots and several low-minimum table games. Picked up $45 in chips for my collection and traders (10x$1, 6x$2.50, 4x$5) and generally had a pretty good time.
