I just completed my latest project... making a Hold-em table from scratch. (photos below).

I used some generic felt for the playing surface and am somewhat disappointed at how the cards slide on the table.

You mentioned "speed cloth" and that the Palms was using something different? Can you recommend any playing surfaces that an individual can purchase? Are all "speed cloth" made the same or specific "brand" that works best?

Gene, any advice you would give would be greatly appreciated.
