Question on Binions 500 Buy-In Chips

I recently got the yellow chip shown below on eBay. I had the grey one shown next to it that has the identical silver center inlay. On close examination, the yellow chip does not appear to be a 'paste up" job done manually.

I'm not sure if these are in The Chip Rack or not. Does anyone know when they were used and why there were two different ones? One for satellite play? When was the silver anniversary year? Andy, you answered a question when I posted my Horseshoe buy-in chips about a year and a half ago and mentioned several I was missing; you didn't mention this yellow chip though.

By the way, the yellow chip has sharp edges, not typical of BudJones molded plastic chips. I wonder if it's from Wico or one of the chip makers that ended up as Gambler's General Store?
