I was very fortunate to have Larry Miller and Paul J. Gregory for mentors when We first started doing ashtrays. I ran them ragged with questions and still take advantage of their knowledge today.

One experienced collector is worth more than any ten books on the subject. Of COURSE, books are needed, and this collecting field has some great ones.

BUT, that personal touch from a MENTOR adds another dimension and really fuels ones enthusiasm to spend huge amounts of money on these wonderful collecibles.

The other really special thing is that you get to meet and know some of the finest people I have ever met in any collecting field.
