When I come across something ( collect it ) , I collect it for what it is , warts and all , but with strong feelings for what it was and where it may have been .
What is the point of buying a 200 year old gold coin , melting it down , then recasting it so it looks better .
I can't think of an appropriate name for this , but it sure ain't Collecting .
