From burned to unburned in 3 stages

The middle scanned was cleaned using a toothbrush. The third scan used wet/dry sandpaper (400/600/1200) with a dab of baby gel.

Note a bit of patina was lost with the sanding. If I was more careful I probably could have avoided that. BTW, can you see that most brownish inlays are actually white.

Also note that the pitting cannot be erased completely.

However, I do believe that the cleanup did make a virtually untradeable chip into a chip with trade value.
