Hi David, In my opinion burns reduce the value of a chip and this is a pretty severe burn. I would never buy it at any price. I might get it on a trade deal, put it in my collection, and wait for a better sample. I know of a guy who can pretty much clean up burn traces if they are not too deep, but this looks too deep to be salvaged. Merry Christmas. Nancy Olson R-5436
