I don't know what's so top secret here or about any of us that we can't have our IP address attached to the messages. As it has been pointed out, many people may come from one address, but it is a way to help identify the source of the messages and reduce Spam.
Now about the WTC casino... for everyone who has a dog in this hunt.

Shoen bought the World Trade Center hotel on Desert Inn Road in 1996.
After the state Gaming Control Board approved the fast-tracking of his nonrestricted gaming license in May 1998, he withdrew the application in May of 1999.
October 05, 1999 - Founder of U-Haul Shoen dies in crash
The Clark County coroner's office confirmed today that Shoen was killed Monday morning when the car he was driving struck a power pole on Stephanie Street. It was not immediately known whether Shoen died from the impact of the single-vehicle collision or a pre-existing medical condition, the coroner's office said. An autopsy is pending.

U-Haul founder's gaming application moved off fast track

The company operating the World Trade Center resort on Desert Inn Road in Las Vegas failed to pass muster with the Nevada Gaming Control Board Wednesday in its quest for a non-restricted gaming license.
The license application, filed by Amerco Entrepreneurial Institute Inc.; Leonard S. Shoen, Amerco's president, director and shareholder; and Carol L. Shoen, Amerco's secretary and treasurer; was sent back to the board's investigative staff for further review.
The Shoens bought the non-gaming World Trade Center two years ago and now plan to invest $7 million at the property by adding gambling, 310 hotel rooms and 10,000 square feet of meeting space to the existing 65,000 square feet.
The gaming license application was sent back for review at the request of Mr. Shoen after board members said they would not approve the application because Amerco employs two ex-felons and a non-licensed manager.
"It would not be my intent to support the application today," said board Chairman Bill Bible.

Very short conclusion. The Shoen's owned the casino for two years before applying for a gaming license, so I would also tend to doubt that they had an opening, tables and were just waiting for the license. (no evidence to prove they didn't have the tables and chips waiting for two years either?)
Note: Shoen is quoted as saying he bought the hotel as a way to market goods from around the world.
Let the facts speak for themself. By the way I have bought chips from Mike and he's always been a top notch guy, along with all the people that assist him. Mike markets chips under TWO names. 
(in other words the whole name thing is not an issue) I'll assume that he got the story the same way as the rest of us and the incorrect version has been perpetuated by passing it from hand to hand.
Time to make the information match with the facts and historical information as supported by the newspaper articles.
