Sure it does...Superstitions and behavior....

Seems that I have heard that it is not beyond superstitious players (and the Pit) to throw a penny (or two) at the object of opposing luck. At the feet of a lucky player, in the instance of the Pit, or at the base of a table in the case of a player.
