This question is sort of a repeat question I posted last week and received two opposing answers.

Can anyone tell me if Nevada casinos will redeem their obsolete chips (if a prior notice was not made such as is now being done by the Excalibur?)

In other words, if I have a older chip from a existing casino, can I take it to the cage and receive face value for it?

And oh yes, these scanned chips are for trade if anyone is interested.
