Re: Casino Encased Coins - Thank You Dave grin

It appears we have an "expert" in Dave as he has been collecting and cataloging them.

My collection is now eight and maybe I'm already pushing the limits of finding? I picked up two on eBay last week (probably the same ones everyone else already has) and six from Dave.

I'm going to have to do some reading and learning. I'm wondering what years these were originally created and if there is a known end date.

Already I see the problem with someone switching dates, but it looks like putting them in the holder originally did leave some telltale signs on the coins.

If there are over 50 casino versions known, it would make for entertaining casino encased hunting.

What's the going rate for the common ones?
