Terry, great advice. I would like to add two points that I have found useful:
1. Get one of the binders that have a zipper to close it. If the chips happen to fall out of the plastic sheets, they will still be contained within the binder instead of being lost somewhere.
2. Keep track of the purchase/trade/acquisition price. This way, you can later have an idea of how much you have invested in a particular chip. This comes in handy if you decide to sell or trade it later.
