Back in the days before Greg created The Chipguide followed shortly by the Chipboard, the general meeting place for chippers, including online chats, auctions, contests and other fun was Prodigy. (later known as Prodigy Classic when they went Internet)

Prodigy was bought by SBC and then SBC decided that Yahoo should be content provider, so for the last year, rumors have been flying.

Earlier this year there was a consolidation of Communities, Antiques and Collectibles was reduced to two BBs in Hobbies.

While TCB has many more visitors and regulars, it was something back then to have over 100 Chippers as registered members on the chip collecting section of Prodigy.

Once the chippers left, it started getting very quiet on PRodigy.

So another tidbit of history, bites the dust.
