GENERIC CHIPS ON ROULETTE TABLES

Charles: I agree with your post but have always been puzzled why legal or illegal clubs would use generic chips on their roulette tables (or elsewhere). It would seem that people could bring in their own chips. But I have seen too many chips from too many illegal casinos to doubt it. My first "major" purchase of inlay chips (nearly 900 Arabian design chips) came from a person who got them when an illegal Wyoming club went belly up. A number of Louisiana clubs used generic chips. Still a puzzle to me--seems they opened themselves up to cheating.
