NEW FIND: KENS TOWNHOUSE ARROWDIES

NOT previously listed in TCR. 100 found. All in nice shape. All stand on edge. Best available will be shipped in order recieved. $90.00 each plus postage($1.50). Insurance optional at buyers expense.

"Source of the Chips"
The chips were purchased from a Donald Pichitt in Mayo, Maryland. He is now 75 years old, downsizing and moving. The chips belonged to his mother Wynitta Gardner Rhineberg-she loved gamblung. In the summer of 1952 she went to Reno or Valejevo Nevada to help her brother, Norman Rhineberg at his casino DOPEY NORMANS' He gave her these chips and she brought them back to the east coast. "The box of 100 is all Donald Pichitt had and the only ones I know of"

"ALLAN MYERS"
I think the chips are authentic and fantastic. I beleive the story about Wynitta and Norman Rhineberg as I know that Norman was involved with several CA card rooms besides DOPEY NORMANS'. We will list it in TGT:,TCR Value will depend upon sales between now and next edition.
Fullers Index of Nevada Gambling Establishments.
Town House

Elko, NV.
Closed 1958

"Gene Trimble"
There are no available records on hot-stamped ARROWDIES. Burt Co, records confirm that inlayed Arrowdies were shipped from 1953-1957. The Arrowdie mold was found to be un-useable in 1967 per Burt Co. records. Harvey Fuller confirms the Town House closed in 1958. The opening date was not available to Fuller, more than likely due to the fire at the White House Hotel in 1955, where gaming records were kept. Your Arrowdies are well within the time frame. IMO the chips were delivered from Reno Gaming Supply. Your source of the chips also confirmed the Jackpot Club in Elko and the Senator Club in Carson City had Arrowdies that also came from Normans mother. It appears that Dopey Norman was involved in a number of N. NV. casinos in the 1950s' I agree with Alan Myers"fantastic find" IMO, the price you are asking is well beloe the value of the previously unknown Arrowdies true value.
