I jumped three times out of the Adrenaline Adventures hotair balloon! Third time was a double jump, they attached two cord sets together so the free-fall was twice as far! My first jump was the most terrifying thing I ever intentionally did. I brought an extra pair of pants and underwear in case I had an accident. I was so scared that every muscle in my body was clinched very tight, nothing was gonna squeeze out of me that morning, so I didn't need the spares. Second jump, I was looking for style points in my dive off the platform. The fear had lessened, but it wasn't entirely gone. My second jump was a thing of beauty, a perfect swan dive, style points achieved! My third jump (the double jump), there was no fear. I wanted to be the first person in the balloon. I tried to climb out of the basket onto the jumping platform before the balloon was high enough! The balloon pilot had to settle me down, told me to wait until the altimeter read 300 feet... My hat left my nugget shortly after I jumped. I almost caught it on the way back up to the balloon during the first recoil, touched it but missed the grab! I still have that jump on video tape, took that leap about 10 years ago. ...what a rush!
