... Christians in this country today than ever before. We also have far LESS violence today than we have had throughout most of our history.
The supposed "deteriotation" of our society is a complete myth. Does anyone want to go back to the days of the Klan (many of whom were Christians) & segregation -- Prohibition, the Mafia (most of whom were Catholic) & organized crime -- the slums of major cities throughout most of the 19th century and a good part of the 20th century, during which violent crime was rampant and poor people lived miserable lives -- or further back to slavery (many slave owners were Christians who forcibly converted their slaves).

Our society today is as "good" for most people as it has ever been.
