Re: Question on "Most Wanted" Iraq deck of cards

Two things:
(1) I did a search too of eBay a few days ago. I was amazed that I found about 4400 different auctions for the cards. I just did a search now and found 4827 auctions.... .......A lot of sellers are wasting 55 cents per auction (30¢ plus 25¢ for a gallery picture) for those auctions that do not sell. Some are starting their auctions at $1 and making up for low hammer prices with $5.00 shipping and handling..... ..... Some are offering reproduced decks for quite a lot........ I see one auction now for 1000 decks for $2799. Another is 144 decks for $718. Another wants $33 for 2 decks and a poster.
(2) the 55-card thing threw me at first too. I think there are two different lists. (a) One is a simple most-wanted list of 55 people. (b ) And then there is the deck of cards that seems to have just 52 individuals in the deck. There is a poster of the deck that displays 56 cards (8 x 7): 52 face cards for 52 individuals, 2 jokers that have no individulas (just a recap of the individuals), and 2 cards that just show the backs -- something like that.
