Too many fought and died for the right of this ignoramus and others to have the right to freedom. To behave as she did reflects her character. If she has such contempt for our flag and wants to turn her back on it, then she should continue on, walk to the airport and buy a ticket for Iraq. Saddam will welcome her and they'll fit her with a nice burqa and she can continue turn her back all she wants. The whole thing doesn't say much for her parents. As for the "free thinking" professor who encourages her behavior, I'll bet he never served a day in the military and is probably a liberal protester as well.
