Re: WI Casinos to offer Roulette and Craps?

"Under the 1988 federal law that ushered in the era of tribal casinos, states may not tax casino revenue. (now who voted for that stupid idea?)"

The USA has treated the Indians howerer they felt like at what ever time it is. One of the decisions is that Reservations are a seperate nation. Kind of like perferations in a rand Mc Nally Map. Anawhoo States can't Tax reservations just like they can't tax Canada or Mexico.

Ok I know that it isn't working as well as it could. But think of it this way. at least in IL when You and the Casino are trading money back and forth the Casino has to pay taxes every time you push money to them but don't get to deduct the money when they push the money to you. It's not like they are paying taxes on what you leave behind. If you get on a boat with $500 and leave the boat with $300 but you have pushed $10,000 to their side of the table and they have pushed $9,700 to your side IL casinos are paying tax on $10,000 not $300.

It doesn't make much sense to me.
