Re: Kling's write up...

" COLONIAL MOTOR INN

250 North Arlington; licensed since March 1978 for slots and/or 21 only

In August 1966 the Colonial Motor Inn opened as a four-story, forty-five-unit structure. In November 1976 the owners announced that the Colonial would expand to a nine-story motor inn.

In May 1977 work began on the nine-story hotel-casino. The plans called for 168 rooms, a small casino, and a lounge. The principals, all local businessen, were Charles Gadda, John and F.R. Hallahan and Terrence McMullen. The project, which was completed in early 1978, was licensed for eighty slot machines in March 1978. In December 1978 a 21 game was added to the license, and in May 1979 another 21 game was added to the license.

The Colonial, which features an excellent restaurant specializing in prime rib, has never been a true hotel-casino. It has always been thought of more as a fine motor inn.

In 1998 it was licensed for slot machines only, and there are no table games currently operating on the property."

vbg I dunno if that helps, but now you know as much as I do about the place! rofl
