Re: What about airtites
In Response To: What about airtites ()

I am in the process of moving all my Nevada chips into airtites. I have been buying a case at a time from JP's Corner. I have been dealing with JP for a long time. In fact, a couple years ago, at his request, I sold him a couple common pieces (chips, a strike, a token... something like that) because he wanted to accurately serve the chip market.

I also use airtites with rings - because sometimes a chip seems a little off-size and won't fit in the direct fit 39mm size... then store them in the red two-rowed boxes Larry mentioned. I label them with removable labels (in case I have to adjust somewhere) purchased at staples - alphabetically for quick identification.

Another thing JP has that I LOVE are the albums for airtites. They only hold something like 30 chips each in direct fit or 24 w/ rings (don't quote me on that... didn't actually pull one out and count) - but I use these for my "favorites". If I like the chip too much to box it up, I put them in the album so I can look at them easily... show them off and don't worry about breakage or damage. The albums are about $15. They're too expensive (not to mention - where would you keep them?) to house an entire collection, but they are EXCELLENT for storaging your personal "Hall of Famers" or "most_est special" favorite chips. grin
