Al, the best way I can describe it is, be ready for a bunch of successive joyous realizations! When you walk up the sidewalk to your home, you'll realize that it is your sidewalk! The door that holds the lock into which you'll insert the key is your door! The carpet you walk on and the flooring under it are yours! When you go into the kitchen to put a twelve-pack into the refrigerator, it is your refrigerator in your kitchen!

Up until you take possession of your first purchased home, everywhere you lived before that was in a place where much of what you saw around you was someone else's stuff that you were just paying to use for a while. Now, everything around you is your stuff! You are still paying for it, but it is no longer someone else's stuff!
It IS a great feeling!
