Got the same message...
In Response To: E-BAY credit info request ()

I have several email accounts and I got the message on one that has nothing to do with eBay - but is one I use to post things on the internet so I suspect it gets "harvested" by the spammers. I checked the IP address in the raw message and it was from some place in China. I think eBay does make an effort to shut these operations down but as long as the senders have lists they can just change to a new ISP and get back in business. My guess is that they probably sell the data they get from anyone who fills out the forms to other scam artists who then use it to commit credit card fraud. The net is a dangerous place for the unwary....
