I just got an email from Carole Reeves at Checkmate. She explained that the database is limited to 1gig of space. This is a Microsoft limitation not Checkmates. Carole suggested that anyone using Checkmate should only scan one side of a chip not both, if the sides are the same. This saves a lot of disk space. I suggested they come into our forum and inquire what we would like to see in the ideal Chipper software. Do not know if they will. Overall I really like this program, but was disappointed to learn it has storage limitations.
