Re: Varieties - Caesar's 1st Issue HCE 50c

A similar thing happened with the recent release of a $5 regular table chips at Trump Plaza in Atlantic City.

Story goes that this brand new never-played chip had been the $5 back up chip stored in the vault for TP since the day they opened in 1986. When they decided to put it into play in 2002, after retiring their $5 CHIPCO table chip, they discovered they did not have enough of the $5 back up (now sixteen years-old) chip from 1986 so they ordered additional $5 chips from Paulson. The newer ordered $5 chips are a distinctly different red color than the original $5 red issue... and as such, deserve a separate catalog number.
