I am Mormon. I don't hide my gambling stuff when people come over, though. I don't impose my views on others unless they ask to discuss them. I prefer diet Pepsi to drink, and so does my mother. The only tips that I have are:

1) Provide a non-alchoholic drink alternative. (Seven-Up works well, red-punch, water, or ask your son-in-law)
2) Don't cook with alcohol.
3) If you wish to drink, that's your choice, and if others wish to drink thats their choice.
4) I would not get stressed over this, they typically don't bite. :-)
