Jim; I had one bout with a computer virus a couple of years ago (sircam virus) that required me to do a complete system restore that I would dread having to go through again. I no longer have that computer as I have since given it to my grandchildren and bought a new one... but I did lose a lot of information.

While I do have my present computer protected by Norton anti-virus software, and I'm happy with the multiple virus notifications I do receive from Norton ... I still do not open ANY attachment from ANYBODY unless I receive advance notice that such an attachment is forthcoming from the email sender. I have too much important stuff stored on my hard drive to risk taking a chance on picking up a virus infection. One thing I have to seriously look into is a Zip drive as much of my catalog information won't fit on single floppy disks.
