As Don stated, it is not a fake as it was made and used at Harrah's as a movie prop. There is some demand for the chips by collectors, thus we have placed fair values on them. It should be noted on any auction that they are NOT true casino chips that were used for real action at any casino. They are what they were made for, movie props. As for the year that city & state had to be on Nevada casino chips, I believe it was about 1988-1992. I'm not sure of the exact year.
