The wife and I bought a convertible Firebird for our trip cross country. We took only ourselves, our dog, and whatever else fit for the drive from Brooklyn to Las Vegas (i wrote at the time about the beauty of passing both the Twin Towers and the Rocky Mountains in one trip -- I never imagined I wouldn't be able to do it again).

ANyway -- If you have an extra Trans Am chip, I'd love to trade for it. Very VERY personal need for it. (Sure, mine is a 6-cylinder Firebird, but close enough).
