I've never been in the Klondike. If it's anything like Vacation Village was just before it closed, I can relate. ...actually stayed a night at Vacation Village last year. It was the worst hotel/motel room that I've stayed in in the last decade of regular travels around the country, and the casino was nothing to write home about either. I was playing roulette with 50 cent chips, the table was full, and I was the whale! Everyone else was playing 25 cent chips! Not kidding!

I just received a voice mail from my boss at FastNews, he wants me to work the NHRA event at LVMS the last weekend of October. I like traveling on an expense account, but it also tightens up my free-time schedule. I will get in touch with you before I make the trip out, we should be able to hook up. The Olympic Gardens happens to be a favorite place to visit for one of the guys who handles tower media operations, so maybe I can hitch a ride with him!
